About the pattern & material
▫️Pattern: Kikko ▫️Technique: Kasuri
This is a kasuri technique that is widely used in South Asia, East Asia, and Southeast Asia. One of its characteristics is the lines that go beyond the borders of the pattern and look like they were drawn with a pencil. This kimono fabric has a continuous hexagonal (Kikko) kasuri pattern all over it.
Extremely fine threads are used, giving the fabric a unique, smooth feel and making it lighter than it looks.
